Hello, I'm Roque. My experience as a graphic designer began in 2012, working as the Communications and Outreach Coordinator for a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting food sovereignty through the cultivation and consumption of ancestral foods, such as amaranth. In this role, I created attractive logos and labels for small-scale producers' brands. I also developed the organization's comprehensive graphic image, which included the development of various publications, such as recipe books, informational brochures, event posters, and graphics for donor presentations. All of this was done with the responsibility of effectively communicating the organization's mission and values.
In 2017, I left my previous job to join my wife and start as wedding photographers. We became two of the best photographers in Mexico, with a documentary style that captures the essence of each event. To this day, we continue to immortalize unique moments at celebrations across the country and also work in the United States and South America. At the same time, I have continued to develop as a visual artist, exploring painting, drawing, printmaking, and illustration. I have collaborated with the University of California, Santa Cruz, creating illustrations for research projects and designing logos for their Linguistics, Astronomy, and Leadership departments

Although my background isn't that of a conventional graphic designer, I've developed solid skills in tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Lightroom. My approach has always been to understand the core ideas of my clients and collaborators, allowing me to generate initial proposals with pencil and paper. This artisanal process helps me create authentic and original images. Recently, I've begun exploring the use of Artificial Intelligence as a catalyst for ideas and references. This combination of traditional methods and modern technology allows me to enrich my work and offer creative solutions that align with the vision of my clients and collaborators.
An idea has infinite possibilities. Every concept evolves over time. Creativity drives this process, and it's an honor to guide its development. Reflection and collaboration can reveal new perspectives that improve the original idea.
Creating unique typefaces is my passion, transforming letters into art that expresses emotions. Typography communicates visually and reflects the identity of the message. The first step is inspiration: observe and understand, then experiment with styles and shapes. Personalization must adapt to the context, ensuring legibility and visual impact. Feedback is key; receiving constructive criticism improves the design. The evolution of a typeface is constant; each project is an opportunity to explore.
I've created wedding stationery, including menus, table numbers, and general branding, reflecting the beauty of love in every celebration. Every couple has a unique story that should be captured in meaningful details. I collaborate with couples to design something personal and memorable, choosing quality papers, fonts, and harmonious colors. Each element leaves a lasting impression on guests, making it an honor to be part of this journey.
Helping to create images is a great honor, and I'd love to collaborate with you. I'm here to support you with creative ideas to achieve what you desire. If you have a specific concept, I'd be happy to listen and work together to make it a reality. I'm confident our collaboration can result in something special that meets your expectations.
